Not a Timmy.

holy crap that panel *happened*
not happened happened. But in summary happened.
GAH COMIC BOOK ARTISTS. why do you do this to me

Can we stop with this mandate against Bruce having feelings/expressing love for his Robins while wearing the cowl? Please? Because to me, if you erase this aspect of Bruce’s personality—-the fact that he really DOES give a crap about the children he has shepherded into his mad crusade—-he’s almost wholly unlikeable, and maybe even sociopathic. He rides a fine line as it is. It’s okay to have him fail at being a protector, a mentor, and a father—-those aren’t things that he always knows how to do. That makes him human, and that shows exactly how damaged he really is. But showing emotion, forming bonds, and loving others doesn’t make you less of a badass. It doesn’t make you weak, or less masculine. To me, we need more glimpses of love like this panel here, and the one that Gail Simone posted earlier today.
