It would! Basically, I feel like ANYONE other than Bruce as Earth-2 Batman would be fascinating. There are some notes of Damian in the design, but I wonder why the others seem to be from the earlier age group (i.e., it looks like Superman and Wonder Woman MIGHT be Donna and Conner). We’ve been told that there is a Wayne under the cowl, but that doesn’t really narrow it down that much—-it could be Thomas Wayne, Bruce, or Damian. If you want to fudge with the definition a little, it could also be Dick or Tim (or maybe Jason? But that’s way less likely than even these unlikely candidates, since Jay was his ward, not adopted).
You know what would be neat? If Dick is Batman, Helena is his daughter, and Helena Bertinelli is her mother. Huntress as a possible legacy title! ALL the complications that would come from having Dick and Helena as parents! Circumvention of that whole “Bruce’s kids are the best crimefighters because JUSTICE is in his blood and also his sperm okay” thing with Damian and Terry!
But that is a very far-fetched theory. In lieu of that, I’d like her father to be Damian. I really hope that she’s given her due, either way. Give me a compelling girl!Robin who has the same legitimacy as the boy!Robins. idk, I’m hoping that we get to know who her mother is, too. Since that’s also, you know, important.
