She would! Her friendship with Laila would be good for her, because Laila is goddamn serious about Dark Knighting it up by the time she’s five. Most girls her age want to be ballerinas, but Laila wanted to be a Bat. Rosie and Laila would play vigilante more often than they played house. When Laila began her training, she’d practice everything with Rosie. But more than sharing her moves, Laila shared her views—-the Law of the Bat, but not phrased in that context. They were just the rules of the game, and Rosie accepted them before she ever realized that it wasn’t a game at all. She’s still on the antihero end of the spectrum, but she adopts her father’s passionate and selective morals rather than her mothers’ threadbare ones.
