I just finished the episode “Out of Gas” from Firefly. I just. feelings. help. I am the slowest slowpoke that ever poked, but there was a tiny bit of ugly crying as I sanded my Red Hood helmet some more and tried to handle all of these feelings for people who come together and build pseudo-family-units because they had nothing else but now they have each other and it’s beautiful.

Today, I overcame the rest of my Batfam-writing fears, bit the bullet, and wrote a bunch of stuff with Cass and Babs. I am proud of me for finally sucking it up and just doing it. Writing Jason interacting with Tim/Cass/Oracle!Babs on post-Robin, pre-Red Hood terms has been a lot of fun.
After I finish up this next part of Take the Heat Out of Me, I’ll get to my backlog of askbox...
